Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant with proficiency in Tally to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and experience in managing financial records, ensuring accurate reporting, and overseeing daily accounting operations. This role is critical to maintaining the financial health of the company, providing insights for decision- making, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1- General Accounting:

a) Maintain accurate and up- to- date financial records using Tally ERP.

b) Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal entries.

c) Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

d) Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.

2- Financial Reporting & Analysis:

a) Analyze financial data and provide regular reports on the company's financial performance.

b) Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports for management review.

3- Taxation & Compliance:

a) Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations, preparing and filing accurate tax returns.

b) Assist in audits by providing necessary financial data and supporting documentation.

4- Internal Controls & Process Improvement:

a) Establish and maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting.

Suggest and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems.

5- Team Leadership:

a) Oversee junior accounting staff, providing guidance, mentoring, and training.

b) Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and HR, to ensure smooth financial operations.

6- Cash Flow Management:

a) Monitor company cash flow and work closely with the Finance Manager to manage liquidity and investment activities.

Desired Skills & Experience

1- Preferred Skills:

a) Experience in managing audits and tax filings.

b) Knowledge of ERP implementation and integration with Tally.

Experience in FMCG industry.

2- Qualifications:

a) Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

b) Proficiency in Tally ERP is mandatory.

c) Minimum of 5- 7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior accountant role.

d) Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.

e) Excellent analytical and problem- solving skills.

f) Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

g) Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

h) Strong leadership and communication skills.

i) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is a plus
