Business Development Manager / Sales Manager
The BDM / Sales Manager will ensure current customers have the right products and services, identify new markets and customer leads, and pitch prospective customers. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management to set goals in achieving sales targets.
Job description and responsibilities:
1. Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
2. Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence.
3. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand our market presence both domestically and in international export markets.
4. Build and promote strong, long- lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
5. Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
6. Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
7. Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
8. Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
9. Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
10. Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
11. Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle.
12. Researching ,planning and implementing new target market initiatives.
13. To contribute to the development and review of operational procedures and / or strategies that inform the activities and outcomes.
Requirements:
1.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or any related field.
2.Proven track record of success in Sales management, with experience in export sales, preferably within the Plastics packaging industry.
3.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
4.Strong leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse sales team
5.Proficiency in English and Arabic (Bilingual) is preferred, with priority given to Qatar residents.
6.Familiarity with plastics packaging products and industry trends.
Locally available with NOC and can join immediately.
