Carpenter ship repair
Job Responsibilities
Carry out carpentry works for ship repair and shipbuilding projects.
Fabricate, repair, and install wooden structures, panels, doors, and fittings.
Read drawings and measurements for accurate cutting, shaping, and installation.
Use hand and power tools safely for carpentry activities.
Perform repair works in confined spaces, heights, and marine environments.
Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and supervisor instructions.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience in carpentry work.
1 2 Years experience in ship repair or shipbuilding carpentry.
Skilled in hand tools, power tools, framing, and finishing works.
Good knowledge of wood materials and precision workmanship.
Physically fit to work in demanding shipyard conditions.
Ability to communicate clearly with foreman and team members.
Secondary school or equivalent qualification.
