Carpentry Supervisor (Events) Wanted

Job Summary:
The Carpentry Supervisor is responsible for supervising all carpentry and wood fabrication activities related to event setups, exhibitions, stage production, kiosks, booths, and custom event structures. The role includes managing carpentry teams, ensuring quality workmanship, meeting project deadlines, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with production, design, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise carpenters and fabrication workers in workshop and site activities.
Execute production drawings and ensure accurate fabrication of event structures, booths, stages, counters, and decorative items.
Plan daily manpower allocation and monitor productivity.
Coordinate with project managers, designers, painters, electricians, and installation teams.
Ensure projects are completed within deadlines and required quality standards.
Inspect materials, tools, and finished products before dispatch and installation.
Monitor site installations and resolve technical carpentry issues.
Maintain workshop discipline, cleanliness, and safe working practices.
Ensure proper usage and maintenance of carpentry machinery and hand tools.
Prepare material requirements and coordinate with procurement/store departments.
Train and guide carpentry workers for quality and efficiency improvements.
Follow company HSE policies and ensure compliance during workshop and site operations.
Requirements:
-Diploma or technical qualification in Carpentry/Woodwork or related field preferred.
-Minimum 5–8 years of experience in event production, exhibitions, fit- out, or staging industry.
-Strong knowledge of carpentry works, wood materials, laminates, finishes, and fabrication techniques.
-Ability to read technical drawings and production layouts.
-Experience handling workshop teams and site installations.
-Knowledge of power tools, woodworking machines, and safety procedures.
-Good leadership and problem- solving skills.
-Ability to work under pressure and meet tight event deadlines.
-Valid driving license is an advantage.
