Primary Purpose of the Job

Prepare conceptual / detailed drawings, sketches in AutoCAD applications, maintain up

to- date records and as- built drawings of fit out works / services undertaken in various QP

/ leased premises including site surveying of offices and relevant locations to record / use

/ retrieve data's with accuracy.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Prepares AutoCAD drawings in coordination with Engineers for various FM

services by following QP drafting standards.

2. Carries out site surveys / measurements and gather data / information for

preparing conceptual/proposal/ shop/ detailed/ as built drawings related with

internal / external maintenance services, as and when required.

3. Prepares as built drawing and update regularly in consultation with concerned

staff or through site visits to directly survey / measure the changes.

4. Keeps record or files all technical and engineering drawings / documents.

5. Retrieve reference drawings from TDMS system/ Technical Data Center related

with various facilities and distribute to concerned staff.

6. Plot, print, scan and photocopy various drawings / other related documents for

issuance and distribution to end- users/ FM staff as per Supervisor's instruction.

7. Maintain FM library of technical plans, service drawings, and specifications or

other related documents including consultant drawings, 084M manual etc and

ensure that all technical drawings/ documents are correctly updated, controlled,

distributed and retrieved whenever required.

8. Keeps and maintain a register for the drawing accessories and instruments and

initiate to order them as and when necessary.

9. Utilizes and explore AutoCAD and other related software such as MS Office, GIS

eMAP, and TDMS; and operate plotters, printers and digital cameras. Take

photograph of various QP/ leased facilities as per various end- user requirements

based on Supervisor's instruction.

10. Provides drafting support to other FM division upon advise of supervisor.

Context / Special Features / Challenges

 Has access to QP housing and offices and access to drawings or other

engineering/ technical documents related with QP facilities. He is expected

to maintain confidentiality in all these matters

 Initiate PRs for drawing equipment and other minor instruments.

 Plan / design feasibility and limitations of the project in given locations and

possible safety concerns.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience

 Completion of secondary education (12 years) followed by a diploma in Civil

Architectural knowledge of surveying and drafting.

 AutoCAD/other Drafting Software literate. Good spoken and written English.

 Minimum 5 years’ experience in drafting using AutoCAD, construction and

surveying works. Must have some experience in

Architectural/Civil/Electrical/HVAC services drawings.

 Candidate to hold valid Qatar Driving License
