Responsibilities:

Carry out installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems including:
LV/HV switchgear, MCCs, transformers, UPS, battery chargers, and lighting systems.
Motors, generators, control panels, and distribution boards.
Offshore electrical and earthing systems.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform necessary repairs or component replacements.
Perform insulation resistance tests, continuity checks, and functional testing on circuits and Motors.
Support NDT or calibration works for electrical instruments and sensors.
Follow all offshore HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) rules and Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
Ensure compliance with Qatar Energy / NOC / QP offshore safety standards.
Requirements:
Diploma / ITI Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related trade.
Minimum 3 5 years of experience , with at least 3 years in offshore oil and gas or marine environment.
Knowledge of HV/LV electrical systems, Motors, control circuits, and protection systems.
Familiar with hazardous area (Ex/ATEX) installations and equipment.
Understanding of IEC, IEEE, or BS electrical standards.
Valid BOSIET / HUET and H2S certification required for offshore work.
