Job Description: Native EYFS English Teacher for Child with Mild Autism/ADHD.
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teacher or special instructor to provide tailored educational support to our 8-year-old son, who has mild Autism/ADHD. He is currently in Year 2 of the British curriculum and requires assistance in English (phonics-based) and Mathematics. The ideal candidate should have experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) and be able to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized lessons in English (phonics-based learning) and Mathematics to support the Year 2 British curriculum.
Understand and adapt teaching strategies for a child with mild Autism/ADHD, ensuring lessons are engaging and interactive.
Use a range of educational tools and strategies to meet the child's unique learning needs and pace.
Conduct at least two sessions per week, ensuring consistency and progress in learning.
Maintain a patient, supportive, and positive approach to build the child's confidence and focus.
Qualifications and experience:
Native English speaker with strong knowledge of EYFS and British curriculum standards.
Proven experience in teaching children with special educational needs (SEN), particularly those with Autism and ADHD.
Proficiency in phonics-based learning for early years literacy development.
Ability to teach Year 2 level Mathematics in line with the British curriculum.
A compassionate and patient teaching style, with the ability to connect with children and make learning enjoyable.
Location and Schedule:
The sessions will take place in the evening hours at our residence in Al Sultan Complex 2, Ain Khaled, Doha.
We require a commitment of at least 2 sessions per week.
