We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Engineer to manage and oversee fabrication activities for major oil & gas projects in Qatar. The role involves ensuring fabrication works are completed as per QELNG project specifications, client standards, quality requirements, HSE regulations, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee fabrication work at the site.

Review drawings, isometrics, and material requirements.

Plan and coordinate fabrication activities at site.

Prepare fabrication work packs and method statements.

Ensure compliance with QatarEnergy, project standards, and international codes.

Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections, welding, and NDT.

Monitor progress and report to project management.

Supervise subcontractors and fabrication teams.

Ensure adherence to HSE and safety procedures.

Resolve fabrication- related technical issues.

Support mechanical completion and handover activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 12+ years of experience in oil & gas fabrication.

Prior experience in Qatar or GCC projects preferred.

Strong knowledge of piping and structural fabrication.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Good communication and team management skills.

Proficient in MS Office; Primavera/SAP is an advantage.

Proficient in English (spoken and written).
