Position: IT Support Technician
Responsibilities:

Perform installation, configuration, and upgrading of desktop computers, laptops, and other IT hardware components.
Set up, configure, and maintain printers, scanners, routers, switches, and other network-related systems.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software issues to ensure minimal downtime.
Provide timely technical support to employees and users for system-related concerns.
Ensure systems are properly updated, secured, and backed up as per IT policies.
Assist in managing local area networks (LAN) and wireless connectivity for smooth office operations.
Maintain IT asset inventory, documentation, and update service logs.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacement, warranty claims, and technical escalations when required.
Support installation and maintenance of operating systems, antivirus, and office software packages.
Requirements:

Bachelor s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field.
Minimum 2 4 years of hands-on experience in desktop installation, printer configuration, and network troubleshooting.
Excellent understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office applications, and network connectivity tools.
Strong ability to diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and network issues independently.
Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
