*Job Role*
1. Provide advice and guidance on the Company s issues and ensure that legal advice given is consistent with the relevant company's regime.
2. Develop standard agreements and protocols for use by the wider Legal Department.
3. Provide Legal advice to relevant internal departments on legal issues referred by General Counsel.
4. Draft, review and negotiate contracts on behalf of the organization s ventures, and ensure that requisite company s procedures are met with respect to contractual arrangements.
5. Preparing all documents required to file cases, including briefs and other court documents.
6. Working closely with team members to prepare a comprehensive brief on each case that goes to trial.
7. Researching legal concepts, case law, judicial opinions, statutes and regulations.
8. Maintaining accurate case files, notes and reports.
9. Negotiating cases to meet the needs of the firm and the client.
10. Making sure all parties are carrying out their court order sentence and paying the necessary fines.
11. Collaborate with management to devise efficient defense strategies.
12. Specify internal company s policies and regularly monitor compliance.
13. Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations.
14. Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
15. Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces.
16. Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization.
**Requirements**
1. Bachelor s degree in law (LLB)
2. Minimum 8-10 Years of experience in Qatar.
3. Able to demonstrate excellent communication and drafting skills in Arabic and English.
4. Proficient in writing memos and lawsuit papers.
5. Knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.
6. Proven experience as a Legal Counsel in business environment.
7. Comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation.
8. Ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.
