We are seeking a Mechanical Inspector to carry out inspection and quality control activities for oil & gas projects. The role involves ensuring all mechanical works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, international standards, and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect mechanical works including piping, wellheads, structural steel, tanks, , pressure vessels, heat exchangers and equipment.

Verify materials, fabrication, installation, and testing activities.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.

Review and approve inspection test plans (ITPs).

Coordinate with QA/QC and construction teams for inspections.

Witness pressure testing, hydro testing, and functional tests.

Monitor welding activities and NDT results.

Prepare inspection reports and quality documentation.

Identify non- conformances and follow up on corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with HSE and site safety procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

5- 7 years of experience as Mechanical Inspector in oil & gas.

Strong knowledge of piping, equipment, and mechanical systems.

Experience in fabrication site inspection.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and isometrics.

Good reporting and documentation skills.

Proficient in MS Office.

Valid safety certifications (preferred).
