We are looking for a Purchasing Executive to buy products that are essential for our company s day-to-day operations. You will review prices and quality and ensure optimal stock levels.
Purchasing Executive responsibilities include evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts and preparing reports (e.g. On orders and costs.) For this role, you should have good knowledge of market research, along wit.

Scope of work:
Check product availability and specification conformance.
Review technical datasheet and standards compliance.
Meet suppliers and asses their ability to meet our needs.
Make deliveries to site if required
Talk to suppliers in case of delayed delivery.
Coordinate delivery to site with storekeeper.
Handover invoices to accounts team
Estimate product value during tendering stage.
Should handle macro to micro purchases
Should use contacts from staff in company with previous product, labour, equipment experience.
Should document and handle supplier contacts and commodity price data.
Should shortlist suppliers and justify the shortlisting.
Should justify price of commodity and negotiate if prices are high.

Qualifications:
Should have local market knowledge
Supplier availability location
Construction Material, labour, equipment price.
Min 5 years in Qatar (Procurement field)
Driving license for car
Should also be able to source through websites.
Languages: Tamil, English, Malayalam, Hindi.
Negotiation skills
Minimum diploma or degree
