Project Architectural Coordinator – Design Development & Execution

High- End Fit- Out Projects

We are seeking an experienced Project Architectural Coordinator to lead architectural coordination for high- end design & build fit- out projects. The role is responsible for managing draftsmen and coordinating closely with QS, procurement, commercial, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure design intent, cost control, and execution alignment from design development through site delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage draftsmen to produce accurate, coordinated IFC drawings based on approved design drawings, 3D visuals, mood boards, and design intent

• Translate concepts and 3D designs into buildable, execution- ready construction documents

• Manage and control client material approvals using 3D shots, color palettes, mood boards, and design style references

• Review, coordinate, and approve shop drawings and technical submittals from suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors

• Ensure full architectural compliance with approved designs, specifications, and project standards

• Coordinate closely with QS and commercial teams on cost estimates, specifications, RFQs, BOQs, value engineering, LPOs, contracts, variations, and client change requests

• Maintain and update procurement logs, material approval registers, and submittal trackers

• Coordinate with MEP, planning, and execution teams to prevent clashes, rework, and delays

• Support design freeze milestones and manage design changes in a structured, well- documented manner

• Participate in value engineering while safeguarding design quality and project intent

• Support mock- ups, samples, factory acceptance tests, and supplier coordination

• Assist in the preparation of as- built drawings and project closeout documentation

• Conduct site walkthroughs to resolve RFIs and expedite works

• Proactively identify risks, report constraints, and escalate coordination issues

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture

• 6–10 years’ experience in fit- out or design & build projects

• Proven experience managing draftsmen and delivering IFC- level documentation

• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, joinery, and fit- out systems

• Experience in high- end residential, hospitality, or commercial projects preferred
