SALES MANAGER Vacancy in Qatar

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Achieve financial objectives by preparing a yearly plan based on the approved annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

• Develop business strategies to raise our customer pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability

• Control, manage and minimize all controllable costs efficiently and within planned budgets

• Effectively communicate sales targets and results to ensure the team understands their role in delivering them.

• Meet sales goals by maximizing sales at every opportunity and training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff.

• Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.

• Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.

• Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

• Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

• Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc)

• Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service

• Ensures availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts; maintaining inventories.

• Markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans; analyzing operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.

• Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and measures.

• Review weekly sales. Conduct weekly store walkarounds, and work closely with the procurement team to know the best / worst product lines are and customer needs.

• Works with Procurement department Coordinator to formulate pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities; determining additional needed sales promotions; authorizing clearance sales; studying trends.

• Works with Procurement department Coordinator to suggest products selections, provide weekly customer feedback and reports, and create an annual product launch calendar.

• Reviewing stock levels in- store and determining additional needed sales promotions, clearance sales, price markdowns, and studying trends to communicate to the procurement team.

• Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.

• Develop and implement marketing strategies for the store and build relationships with other retailers.

• Determines marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records.

• Develop standard operating procedures for the store and continuously work to improve store efficiency.

• Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures

• Create monthly floor plans.

• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.

• Regular reports include but are not limited to reports on buying trends, customer needs, and requests, sales, and profits, and monthly business reports.

• Maintain any Damage Reports, Incident Reports and collect customer data for workshops and updates.

• Support in developing in- house services such as gift wrapping, and personalization. workshops offering and other revenue streams.

• Promote all in- house services and workshops.

• Propose innovative ideas to increase market share.

• Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.

• Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements

• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Accountable for cash handling, cashing up and banking using correctly in- store processes and procedures.

• Monitor any stock and financial discrepancies if any take the appropriate measures.

• Comply with inventory stocktake procedures to take place after store closing hours.

• Reporting any stock damages and losses to Storekeeper and providing any required supporting evidence for stock take reconciliation.

• Monitor any discrepancies if any take the appropriate measures.

• Checking of stock book and verifying the sale quantity.

• Excess stock will be added to the stock register & shortage will be debited to the concerned staff.

• Carry out monthly competitor comparisons to monitor pricing position and identify emerging trends

• Working closely and communicating with all teams to ensure high levels of collaboration to meet business objectives.

• Be a shining example of good behavior and high performance.

• Additional store manager duties as needed.

• Regular Rounds for observation purposes

• Verification of Revenue with account

QUALIFICATION & KNOWLEDGE

• Min 5 years experience in a similar position and industry.

• Detail- oriented, efficient, and organized professional.

• Proven successful experience as a sales manager.

• Powerful leading skills and business orientation.

• Customer management skills.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• BS degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
