Senior Accountant Accounting Manager

As a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role involves managing a team of accountants, maintaining financial records, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Develop, monitor, and manage budgets to support organizational goals.
Provide financial forecasts and analysis to guide decision-making.
Team Management:
Supervise and lead the accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Internal Controls:
Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
Conduct regular audits to identify and address control weaknesses.
Tax compliance:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Coordinate with external tax advisors for tax planning and reporting.
Cash Flow Management:
Manage cash flow by monitoring daily financial operations.
Implement strategies to optimize cash positions and liquidity.
Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Audit Coordination:
Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process.
Address audit inquiries and ensure timely completion of audits.
ERP System Management:
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Ensure efficient use of the system to streamline financial processes.
Policy Development:
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
Keep abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulations.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
Proven experience (X years) in accounting and financial management roles.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
experience with ERP systems and proficiency in accounting software.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
