Role: Software Installation Engineer / Technical Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Install and configure Qmatic products

Install/support Axis camera software, servers, storage, and networks

Install/support barcode systems, time attendance, and access control systems

Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues

Train clients on system usage

Assist sales team with technical input during pre- sales

Prepare technical documentation and deployment reports

Estimate deployment effort and handle escalation issues

Requirements:

Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field (preferred)

Experience with enterprise application installation and configuration

Knowledge of Windows systems

Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs

Database experience: Oracle, MSSQL, or MySQL

Experience with web servers: Apache, JBoss, IIS, or GlassFish

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills

Willingness to travel
