Job Description:

Issues supplies, materials, and equipment: manually pre-picks store items from multi-level racking which are specified in all required documents, in advance of issuance to the field; completes all necessary paper works for store items issued, and forward to Superior.
Receives delivered supplies, materials, and equipment; confirms that delivered goods match purchase order specifications of quantity, condition, model number, etc; completes all necessary paperwork for store items received, and forwards to Superior.
Receives returned material store items, disassembles, inspects, and determines suitability of materials for restoring.
Utilizes mainframe computer terminal to properly account for issues, returns, receipts of new materials and associated back orders; inputs essential data on all materials handled; adheres to strict accounting procedures in this regard.
Conduct weekly cycle counts of inventory materials based upon computer-monitored suggested re-order listing; assist in conducting complete physical inventory count annually.
Organizes and maintains warehouse and inventory yard areas for efficient material storage and handling; maintains labeling system on each stock items; manually stock inventory shelving with stock items received and returned. Receiving, issuing, handling, and accounting for inventory stock.
Maintains records and coordinates the periodic safety inspection.
Manage and maintain the company s material and stored product inventory including store profiles and store locations.
Ensure that all material required is identified and is available as and when needed.
Liaise with the Procurement Division and Maintenance Division.
Ensure health and safety procedures and environmental policies are understood and complied with.
Identify and report on any work items/ areas that require attention or escalation.
Related Duties
Carries out and perform other related duties as specified and when required and assigned by the line Manager to improve or enhance the efficiency of department work and performance.
