Primary Purpose of the Job
Responsible for administering transactions relating to purchases, supplies and stockholding
within the Medical Warehouse.

Principal Accountabilities
1. Responsible for ensuring all stock transactions are recorded on the electronic stock
management system.
2. Create and Administer requisitions for the required Medical Supplies/Pharmaceuticals
from HMC Stores and other suppliers.
3. Ensure ordering and follow up of orders in SAP through QatarEnergy Materials
Department.
4. Assembly of orders requested in suitable containers for dispatch/delivery to
QatarEnergy Clinics, Offshore and external locations.
5. Record and document all transactional activities pertaining to issuing and purchasing
of stock, as well as stock holding within the Medical Warehouse.
6. Confirmation and recording of the Batch Numbers and Expiry Dates of all medications
and relevant consumables.
7. Ensure regular updating of the operating system and catalogue regarding new
Pharmaceutical and Medical Supply items, deletions, and price changes.
8. Report on the usage and supply of medicines and consumables according to the
available stock holding to all Medical Services Divisions and locations, including
Offshore, Frontline Clinics and nominated companies under QatarEnergy HC
jurisdiction. This includes flagging of limited and/or short supply of stock, expected date
of delivery and notification to relevant locations accordingly.
9. Loading and unloading of goods on receipt/issuing.
10. Ensure adherence to QatarEnergy policies and procedures
Decision Making Authority
Responsible for administering receipt and issue of all supplies and updating of records
on transactions, as well as the stock levels to ensure an acceptable reserve level.
Report any problems regarding receipt and issues of goods to Medical Warehouse
Supervisor.

Valid Qatari Drivers' License (essential).

CLASSIFICATION: C1 - CONTROLLED
Displays flexibility and ability work at different locations and on a shift basis (including
weekends).
Responsible to address problems within scope of duties, i.e., on short supply/stock
availability, expiry dates and batches, reporting to Medical Warehouse Supervisor and to
follow- up.
Interact on an ongoing basis with all QatarEnergy HCD staff, Purchasing and Contracts
Department, Medical Warehouse Supervisor, Hamad Medical Corporation Store, and
other suppliers on orders requested, received, dispatched, and delivered.
Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience
Educated to high school level (12 years) (essential).
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Medical Store environment (essential)
Good understanding of Stocks, Re- Order Levels and Stock Control Principles (essential)
Written and Verbal English skills (essential)
Good communication skills
Must be computer literate (essential)
