Job Title: Tender Engineer
Description
The Tender Engineer involves in tendering and bidding activities. The Engineer monitors and analyses project cost estimates, expenditures, and forecasts. This role also works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare technical proposals
Project schedule on Gantt chart using MSP.
Prepare detailed Project BOQ of material, man power and equipment.
Cost estimation for the tender projects
Coordinate with technical engineers and drafting team to prepare the drawings for the submission of tender documents.
Coordinate with procurement dept and with supplier to get necessary details to complete the tender technical proposal and costing on time.
Post award follow-ups with site team and company managers.
Ideal candidate s skills and experience
Education level: min. Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
experience: min. 3 years
Technical Understanding: Strong knowledge of civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering principles.
Reading and Interpreting Drawings: Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
Bills of Quantities (BOQ): Skill in preparing accurate BOQs based on project specifications.
Cost Estimation: Proficiency in estimating costs for materials, labor, and equipment.
Project Scheduling: Competence in creating project schedules using tools like Gantt charts and CPM.
Contract Management: Understanding of contract documents and terms.
Regulatory Knowledge: Awareness of construction regulations and standards.
Communication Skills: Effective communication with stakeholders.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant software tools (CAD, project management software, spreadsheets, MS Projects).
Procurement: Knowledge of procurement processes and subcontractor management.
