Position: Cost Controller

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail- oriented and experienced Cost Controller to manage budgeting, cost monitoring, and financial reporting for our projects or operations in Qatar. The successful candidate will ensure effective cost control, accurate reporting, and support management in financial decision- making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and monitor project or operational budgets

Track actual costs versus budgets and analyze variances

Prepare monthly cost reports and forecasts

Control expenditures and identify cost- saving opportunities

Coordinate with Project Managers, Procurement, and Finance teams

Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS (QATAR- BASED STANDARD)

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

5–7 years of experience as a Cost Controller or in a similar role

Experience in Construction, Oil & Gas, Engineering, or Hospitality is an advantage

Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost analysis, and forecasting

Excellent MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reporting)

Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred

Good command of written and spoken English

Qatar experience and transferable visa preferred
