URGENT HIRING – COMMERCIAL / CONTRACTS MANAGER

Location: Qatar

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Contract Management (Master's Degree preferred).

Minimum 15 years of experience in Commercial, Contracts, or Quantity Surveying roles within Civil, Infrastructure, or large- scale EPC projects.

Experience in Oil & Gas projects (Ras Laffan experience is an advantage).

Strong knowledge of commercial management, construction contract administration, and drafting/finalizing subcontract agreements.

Proven experience in preparing contractual letters, notices, claims, and supporting documentation with proper contract references.

Ability to maintain and update risk registers, variation logs, claims trackers, and commercial correspondence.

Experience leading and managing a team of Quantity Surveyors on major construction projects.

Capable of reviewing and authorizing client payment applications and subcontractor payment certifications while ensuring timely certification and follow- up.

Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to protect and promote the company's commercial interests.

Extensive knowledge of FIDIC Contracts, commercial procedures, cost control, and contract management is highly preferred.

Valid QID and immediate availability are preferred.

Typical Responsibilities Include:

Lead all contractual, commercial, and cost- related activities for Civil, Infrastructure, and Oil & Gas projects.

Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Prepare, review, and negotiate subcontract agreements.

Manage contract notices, claims, variations, and dispute documentation.

Maintain commercial records, risk registers, and claims trackers.

Lead and supervise the commercial and quantity surveying team.

Review and approve payment applications, valuations, and subcontractor payment certifications.

Attend commercial meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Protect the company's contractual and financial interests throughout the project lifecycle.

Support project management in achieving commercial objectives and successful project delivery.
