URGENT HIRING – EQUIPMENT INSPECTOR

Location: Ras Laffan, Qatar

Joining: ASAP

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience as an Equipment Inspector in Oil & Gas, EPC, Construction, or Industrial Projects.

Experience working in Ras Laffan Industrial City is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of inspection procedures for construction equipment, heavy machinery, lifting equipment, and tools.

Familiar with QCS, QatarEnergy standards, and international inspection codes.

Certification in Lifting Equipment Inspection (LEEA) or equivalent is preferred.

Knowledge of LOLER, PUWER, ASME, API, or relevant inspection standards is an advantage.

Ability to prepare inspection reports and maintain inspection records.

Good communication skills in English.

Valid Qatar Driving License is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections of construction equipment, heavy machinery, lifting equipment, power tools, and accessories.

Ensure all equipment complies with QatarEnergy, project specifications, and safety regulations.

Perform pre- use, periodic, and post- maintenance inspections.

Verify equipment certification, calibration, and inspection validity.

Identify defects and recommend repair, replacement, or removal from service.

Prepare inspection reports, checklists, and documentation.

Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure equipment safety and compliance.

Support safety audits and client inspections.

Ensure all inspection activities comply with company HSE policies and project requirements.
